DESIGN
* To create a master plan which sets out the ideal
acreage, natural features and building design of The Sanctuary
School property
* To prepare a proposal that outlines a charter or
private school curriculum--with input from indigenous elders
and teachers--that would meet the requirements of the Western
Association of Schools and Colleges, and indicates faculty and
administrator qualifications, the expectations and responsibilities
of teachers and students, and the role and opportunities for
involvement of students' families
* To offer training programs for parents and teachers
who would like to assist at The Sanctuary School
* To keep a record of the academic and creative development
of students, and to hold discussions and request written input
regarding parent, teacher and student experiences and evaluation
of The Sanctuary School
* To prepare an annual narrative of the progress of
The Sanctuary School
* To prepare a multimedia presentation of The Sanctuary
School to facilitate its adoption by schools and community education
projects
* To create a web site for The Sanctuary School and
facilitate networking and teacher training for Sanctuary Schools
around the world
